As a manufacturer and installer of quality timber home improvement products for more than 30 years, we are all too familiar with the red tape that can be involved in listed or heritage projects. Our Renovation Division has built up a wealth of experience in the conservation sector, and so we are delighted to now be able to offer our customers the newly launched Heritage Door.
The door is traditional in appearance, with a 1930’s feel to ensure it is in keeping with stringent regulations for heritage buildings, but there’s no lacking when it comes to modern High Performance materials and manufacturing processes, so it can easily meet the levels of energy efficiency demanded by today’s standards. High performance glass is also used to recreate leaded designs for an authentic heritage feel, but with the added benefit of reduced heat escape and cold ingress, so your home stays warm and comfortable all year round.
Adding to your comfort is a new, fully draught sealed frame to further eliminate draughts and water penetration. Frame section sizes are also compatible with original frames, so you can rest assured that there will be no ugly PVC trims around your brand new door.
If you’re looking for stunning aesthetics to make your home really stand out, the Heritage Door is also available factory decorated in a wide range of finishes – including our popular new Mulberry door colour – far surpassing that of modern composite doors, so you can enjoy a unique entrance to your home. What’s more, the paint is guaranteed for up to eight years, so you need not worry about costly regular maintenance.
From a security point of view, the door is provided complete with multipoint locking for peace of mind in a more security conscious time than when your home was originally built! The locks also satisfy insurer’s requirements for security. Like the door itself, the hardware is also available in a choice of colours and finishes to fully complement the look of the property and this look is guaranteed to last, as the door comes with a 30 year guarantee against rot, so you can rest assured that your investment will last for years to come.
If you’d like to find out more about how we can help you add value to your heritage property we’d be delighted to hear from you. And of course, while originally designed with heritage homes in mind, the new door will add value to many types of houses – modern and traditional.
Our award winning indoor facility showcases the entire range of products. You can browse at your leisure and see for yourself the quality of construction and finish available on our wood windows and doors.
