For a beautiful look – Timber is one of the most aesthetically pleasing materials to work with. European Redwood is warm to the touch, pleasing to the eye and incredibly durable.
Long term value – Timber windows and doors are incredibly cost-effective and easy to care for. Modern timber treatments guarantee against rot for 30 years whilst good paint systems will need no attention other than cleaning every 5 years. Repainted timber windows look as good as new and lift the appearance of any property. If damage occurs to a timber window or door it can be easily repaired leaving no sign.
The sustainable way – European Redwood timber used in the production of our windows is harvested from managed forests where, on average, two trees are planted for every one harvested. As timber usage increases, so too does replanting – few people realise that there is actually more area of European forest now than there was one hundred years ago.
Lawrence runs the company with wife, Julie. He is incredibly passionate about creating homes that customers can love. He has a wealth of knowledge about the industry and has been able to weave this into our high quality range of products.
As Director, Julie works with husband, Lawrence, to ensure the smooth-running of our family business. Julie’s 27 years within the business means she understands the whole process, from factory to installation and never misses an opportunity to better our offering. She’s also mum to Helen and Philip!
Helen’s passion lies within marketing. She has a flair for creating engaging campaigns as well as being eager to nurture the family business. Her bubbly personality means she never fails to make us laugh and can always be depended upon to put a smile on our faces.
As Commercial Manager, Phillip never misses a chance to help ERW grow and thrive. With over 15 years experience, his expertise has meant we’ve got to work on some fantastic properties and projects seeped in history and heritage.

Craig leads our busy team of fitters, ensuring that the installations run as smoothly as possible. He loves being able to stand back and admire his team’s hard work at the end of an installation. When he isn’t busy at ERW, Craig enjoys getting outdoors to go fishing.
Customer Service Supervisor
Kirsty has worked for us since she was 18 years old and, due to her commitment and hard work, is commonly referred to as the “honorary daughter” of Lawrence and Julie. As well as a passion for customer service, Kirsty can’t resist spending some time in the kitchen learning a new recipe or two.
Phil, also affectionately known as ‘The Mackam’, has overseen operations for the past seven years. As a chartered member of The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, he keeps our whole team safe whilst also having overall responsibility of every installation we carry out. As well as his dedication to ERW, Phil also finds time to volunteer four nights a week at a local charity.

Craig has worked for us for over two years, putting customer satisfaction at the heart of everything he does. He is a self-confessed perfectionist, and, as a result, has become a very valuable member of the team.
