We use our traditional skills and expertise in joinery to offer a range of options to upgrade and enhance existing conservatories. Whether it’s a sun room, orangery or traditional conservatory, we can redefine the space into a beautiful, timber room to be enjoyed summer or winter.
Our skilled team will create a solution sympathetic to your property and personal tastes, making sure that every last detail is taken care of throughout the process. The roof and side walls of your existing conservatory are replaced using premium timber frames. Retaining the existing brick walls and foundations helps in reducing the cost of such a transformation.
Specially-formulated coatings are applied that reflect the sun’s heat which prevents over-heating in the summer and too much cooling in the winter months. This means you can transform your conservatory into a room you can enjoy all year round.
Our extensive range of premium finishes include a market leading wide range of colours and woodstains that enable maintenance periods to be extended, superb colour retention and redecoration requiring only one coat application. The extremely tough and durable coating characteristics mean we can offer a 30 year guarantee against rot and fungal decay on the coatings and preservatives, 8 years on the coloured and 5 years on the stained.
Meet the craftsmen who will be working on your order
Kelvin has worked for ERW as a factory operative for an impressive 22 years. His dedication and commitment to our family business means we’ve grown from strength to strength since he started working for us in 1995.
As Production Supervisor, Antony enjoys organising the flow of work through the workshop as well as carrying out various joinery tasks. He’s known for being a perfectionist and tackling complex jobs at work but when it’s time to take a break he enjoys playing football, golf and cricket.
Morgan, also known as ‘Well Aye’ in the workshop, is one of our youngest team members. He has been working as an apprentice with us for the past year and a half assembling windows and doors as well as carrying out glazing.
Nathan works as a bench joiner, preparing the doors and windows ready for installation. He is passionate about joinery and brings an array of skills to the team. Mountain biking and fish keeping means he stays busy at the weekends too!
Paint Shop Supervisor
Neil (also known as ‘Davey Dumpling’) is our Paint Shop Supervisor. He is responsible for providing a high quality paint finish to each job that needs it. Having over 30 years experience, he’s a valuable asset to the team by helping us to maintain high standards.
