From sliding doors to french style, our doors are durable and strong, providing you with the perfect gateway to the great outdoors. They complement our range of high performance windows, being designed and manufactured to the same exacting standards.
The doors are designed to cope with adverse weather conditions without compromising on style and are supplied fully assembled to ensure quick and accurate installation.

All of our doors are factory glazed to the highest standards using low emissivity glass, meaning it is incredibly energy-efficient, reducing heat loss by up to 94%. This type of glazing uses Super Spacer® warm edge technology, which provides the very best insulation by making use of the excellent properties of foam, instead of the traditional aluminium. Condensation is reduced by up to 70% as well as a reduction in noise by up to 2Db.
Our door systems have 40 x 20mm glazing rebates to ensure that 22mm (4/14/4) ‘Low E’ toughened glazing units, which are fitted as standard, have adequate ventilation. This feature enables us to offer a 10 year warranty against glass unit failure. Special glass units, including leaded, Georgian Bar and bronze anti-sun, can be fitted upon request.
Beading is fixed using a high performance fixing system to enhance product integrity and appearance.

We use a specialist glass called Planitherm, which has a unique coating that helps to retain heat within your home – it is the most energy-efficient glass available. As well as reflecting heat back into your home, this specialist glass actually maximises the amount of natural light that can enter your home. Issues regarding tint or haze associated with some traditional double glazed windows are not a problem with Planitherm glass and condensation is eliminated. This type of glass also has the potential of saving you up to 28% per year on energy bills compared to traditional windows.

Outwardly-opening doors are supplied as standard. Doors that open inwards can be supplied upon request. Brass handles, escutcheon and euro cylinder lock barrels are fitted as standard, as are concealed three-point espagnolette locking, with dead bolt and concealed slip bolts to fixed leaf. Alternative handle finishes are available upon request.

Our extensive range of premium finishes include a market leading wide range of colours and woodstains that enable maintenance periods to be extended, superb colour retention and redecoration requiring only one coat application.
All our products are treated with high quality preservative applied by means of a double vacuum process in accordance with British Standards and NHBC recommendations.
The extremely tough and durable coating characteristics mean we can offer a 30 year guarantee against rot and fungal decay. Our extended coatings warranty may be available on Patio and French Doors that are fully finished on manufacture.

The combination of double rebated frame sections, double gaskets, four point espagnolette locking, anti-lift device and security glazing makes our sliding doors highly resistant to forced entry.
The combination of 56mm finished thickness doors, concealed three point espagnolette with dead bolt, concealed slip bolts to the fixed leaf and security glazing ensures that our french style doors are also highly resistant to forced entry.

If you’d like to know more about our timber windows, doors and conservatories we have a dedicated FAQs page that answers common questions about things such as our 30 year guarantee, what secondary glazing is, how we work with listed buildings as well as environmental information, payment options and guidance about the installation process.

Some technical information…

At the heart of both systems are 56mm finished thickness, weather-stripping and multi-point espagnolette locking. This gives robustness, stability and a high level of resistance to forced entry. Glazing is drained as standard.

If required, the doors and frame can be made from laminated redwood. All timbers are preservative treated after all machining in accordance with BS 5589. This enables us to provide a thirty year warranty against timber degradation. Special low level thresholds can be provided for wheelchair access in accordance with: Dept. of Environment & Welsh Office, Access & Facilities for Disabled People, Approved Document M 1999 Edition and Scottish Executive Technical Standards, Access & Facilities for Dwellings Pt. Q, Amended December 1999.

“I don’t think I can think of any improvement you could make, we are very satisfied particularly that the actual installation was so quickly and expertly carried out leaving us with no tidying up to do.”
